Centrally located with accessibility, charming vintage decor, historical significance of neighborhood
Noise from the tram can be quite intrusive, especially for light sleepers!!! Limited air conditioning makes hot nights unbearable for those sensitive to heat!!! Worn decor in some areas feels neglected and overdue for a refresh!!!

Attentive staff, cozy rooms. Good breakfasts.
It's very noisy from trams. It's hot in summer and you can't sleep with the window open.

The room was lovely romantic with comfortable beds and an electronic key card, tea and coffee making equipment, and a work desk etc. The location was absolutely perfect: shopping malls and the Christmas market were within walking distance...

Got the exact room pictured on booking site-no surprises! Wifi accessible. Good in hotel breakfast. Excellent metro and train and tram connections. Initially, the neighborhood looked a little rough, but no worry as services, restaurants abound
Not much! Could have used another luggage stand and none could be found

The owner is a Vienna Enciclopedia folks! If you can get 15 minutes with him - he likes to greet you at breakfast time - I am sure you will learn of many interesting places to visit and enjoy. Food was good - not much to mention though, because we only had breakfast. Warm rooms - you have to open yourself the heat - clean and comfortable. The location is 3 tram stations away from the parliament, Rathaus platz and Marie-Therese platz, making it very convenient for sightseeing. Also the main commercial street, Mariahilferstrasse is within walking distance, if shopping is what you came for.So all in all, we will surely comeback to this place. Good value for money!
The overall aspect is a little bit shabby, but if you prefer the old and the traditional, this shouldn't be a problem. Being a family run business makes it more difficult to maintain I guess, but nevertheless a nice place to stay.

Its location is convenient, right by Mariahilfer Strasse. The hotel is in interesting area, close enough to the Mariahilfer Strasse shopping area, the MuseumsQuartier and the Stephansdom, restaurants in the immediate surroundings, and the major sites.

Couple's retreat with a touch of charm
The check-in experience was really good , the receptionist were really good too explain everything we needed to know about our stay and the nearby attractions. Breakfast was a feast of fresh fruits and pastries, with a lovely lady serving up smiles and coffee to kickstart our day.
It wasn't exactly pocket change for the stay , but still manageable.
